For your IT team
An honest look at the platform
Three APIs, webhooks, a command line, and tools your AI assistant understands. The limits are here in black and white.
REST API v2
Orders, products, customers, inventory by warehouse. You create keys in the admin, and the rate limit depends on your plan.
GET /api/v2/orders X-CloudCart-ApiKey: ···· 50 · 100 · 150 requests/min by plan
Admin GraphQL API
Bulk operations on the catalog and addresses. The schema is accessible from the command line, and Dev MCP validates each query against it before execution.
$ cloudcart app schema --search product
MCP validate_graphql_codeblocks
$ cloudcart app execute --query '…'
Storefront GraphQL API
For a fully custom storefront built on Nitrogen, our headless technology: cart, search, and languages are built in.
query { products(first: 24) { … } } preview → production · custom domain
Webhooks
An order, customer, or product changes, and your system receives the event. This is also how one of our clients’ voucher systems works.
order.created → POST https://your-system X-CloudCart-ApiKey · custom headers
Dev MCP and AI Toolkit
The API schema and documentation, readable by Claude and Cursor. Your AI assistant writes the integration against the actual schema.
claude plugin install cloudcart-plugin schema · query validation · wiki
Multiple stores and inventory
A separate store for each market. Inventory syncs across stores with every change, and the ERP supplies stock levels by warehouse through the API.
PUT /api/v2/store-quantity
sku · store · quantity
