Migration from OpenCart to CloudCart
No modules, hosting or developer on call. We move your products, customers and Google rankings. The old store keeps selling while the new one is prepared.
Sample store. Before we switch the domain, we compare the counts in the old and the new store. We launch only at zero difference.
CloudCart's zeros apply through Dec 31, 2026. And as always: 0% transaction fee on sales.
OpenCart has no license fee, but hosting, security and modules are your job. In CloudCart the store is ready to sell, and maintenance is ours.
You choose by your timeline, team and catalog. There is no third party between you and us.
People from CloudCart, not an outside agency. We move the products, customers, articles and content, keep the order history, and set up a 301 redirect from every old URL. You keep selling.
How to request it: in the new store's admin, Services → Migration.
Sample schedule. You get a contact person and a plan with dates.
CSV or XML import moves the products, while customers and redirects from old URLs are uploaded from separate CSV files. The columns in your file are matched to the fields in CloudCart.
A good fit if you know your catalog well. Some of the imports are part of the higher plans.
The links lead to the admin sign-in, and each app is in Apps under its own name. The import is one-time, and the old store is not changed.
The Admin API is for teams that want to migrate programmatically and verify every record: products, images, categories, customers with addresses, articles and redirects. The result is the same store, only the path is technical.
mutation { p1: createProduct(input: { name: "Leather wallet" }) { id } r1: createRedirect(input: { old_url: "/p/4821.html", location: "product", item_id: 1001 }) { id } }# check: every old URL answers with 301
Example from /migration on the site.
We take the data through the export or API, nothing by hand. Every old URL gets a 301 redirect, and llms.txt and structured data help AI.
Sample store. Every old URL leads to the new one, and Google sees the same pages in a new place.
A real example: product URLs in a live store were changed through the CloudCart Admin API, and every old URL leads to the new one.
The six things that make merchants leave OpenCart. CloudCart has an answer to each.

Questions

Two ways: our team moves everything from OpenCart within 45 days, with no pause in sales, or you migrate on your own with the apps in the admin. Old URLs get a 301 redirect, and your Google rankings are kept.
02 / 14
We go through your module list together and tell you what the platform covers. If something is missing, we build it.
03 / 14
Yes, with the imports in the admin: products from CSV or XML, and customers and redirects from old URLs from separate CSV files. The columns in your file are matched to the fields in CloudCart. Some of the imports are part of the higher plans.
04 / 14
They are kept. We move the URL structure, titles and descriptions, and set up a 301 redirect from every old URL.
05 / 14
We move their profiles: name, email and group. Passwords are not moved: customers set a new one the first time they sign in.
06 / 14
We move the order history and keep it separately with us: it is available when you need it for reference or accounting. New orders and invoices start in CloudCart, and we connect your accounting software.
07 / 14
We set them up before launch: Bulgarian couriers such as Econt and Speedy (DPD Bulgaria), cash on delivery, cards and bank transfers.
08 / 14
No. The new store is built at a CloudCart address while the old one keeps selling. When everything is tested, the domain is pointed to the new store at a time you choose.
09 / 14
The domain stays yours and stays the same. It is pointed to the new store, and the SSL certificate is issued automatically. Email stays with your current provider: the records for it (MX) are added in the domain settings, and email does not stop.
10 / 14
Up to 45 days, however complex the migration, and the old store keeps selling in the meantime. Migration by our team is €0 with a 24-month contract, until Dec 31, 2026.
11 / 14
No. Besides CSV and XML (one-time or with automatic sync) there are ready-made importers for WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento, and the Admin API for programmatic migration. Our team also migrates through the old platform's API, and when there is no export, takes the data directly from the old site. Customers, blog articles and 301 redirects are also uploaded from separate CSV files.
12 / 14
Images are uploaded with the products and get new URLs with us. Redirects apply to the store's pages: products, categories, articles.
13 / 14
More and more people ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google AI where to buy. We prepare the store with llms.txt and structured data.
14 / 14
A Bulgarian team answers by phone and email, and your contact person stays the same after the migration.
Create the store for €1 per month for the first 3 months. Migration by our team is €0 with a 24-month contract.
