## The calendar to Black Friday
The key date is Oct 28: from then on, the price of Black Friday products must not drop, so that the reduction is lawful. On Nov 27 the discounts start on their own at 00:00, and for Cyber Monday on Nov 30 the prior price stays the one before the first reduction.

## The struck-through price is the lowest of the last 30 days
Under Bulgaria's Consumer Protection Act (the EU Omnibus rule), the prior price is the lowest one you applied in the 30 days before the reduction. In CloudCart the storefront strikes through the product's regular price and does not work out the 30-day low itself, so keep the regular price stable from Oct 28. ### Prices and the law
- 1. Prices are “clean” from Oct 28 Do not reduce Black Friday products between Oct 28 and Nov 26. Otherwise the prior price becomes the lower one. Consumer Protection Act, Art. 65

- 4. Term, goods and conditions in every message A reduction lasts from 1 working day to 1 month. Say which products it covers and on what terms. Consumer Protection Act, Arts. 63 and 66
- 5. Cyber Monday is a continuation With a second, bigger reduction, the prior price is the price before the first reduction. Consumer Protection Act, Art. 65, para. 5
- 6. Withdrawal button Required by law from Sep 24, 2026 (Art. 52a, Consumer Protection Act). You turn it on after the 4-step wizard. /admin/apps/aftercare →

### Discounts
- 7. Create the discount in advance Active, with a start date of Nov 27. You don't set a time: it starts at 00:00 in the store's time zone. /admin/marketing-new/discounts →
- 8. Don't toggle it on the day A discount can be toggled once every 10 minutes. With a large catalog, the storefront updates with a delay of several minutes. Discount → Date range
- 9. The code also works on reduced products Turn on “Apply discount even if the cart contains products with a discount”. Otherwise the code is rejected. Discount code
- 10. “From €50” means €49.99 “Orders over” is strictly above the amount. Enter €49.99 so that it also applies at €50. Discount → Orders over
- 11. A “−20%” label on products, automatically A label with the “discount” condition and start and end dates. It switches itself off after the end date. /admin/products/banners-labels →
- 12. A page for the promotion only A smart collection with the address /selection/… Link it to the discount when it has the Finished status. /admin/products/smart-collections →

### Cart
- 13. Free shipping above a threshold Global discount → Free shipping → Orders over. Keep only one such discount active. /admin/marketing-new/discounts →
- 14. “€X more to free shipping” BumpCart suggests products that cover the gap to the threshold, in the cart and at checkout. /admin/apps/bumpcart →
- 15. “Buy 3, the cheapest costs nothing” A rule in Cart Rules. Only one rule wins at cart level, so set the priority order. /admin/apps/cart-rules →
- 16. Abandoned cart reminder On, after 60 minutes. Check the remaining quota: once it runs out, reminders stop without a notice. /admin/settings/cart · /admin/abandoned →

### Inventory
- 17. Low inventory email The “Order and product quantities” box: set a threshold below which you get an email. /admin/settings/cart →
- 18. When inventory drops With “paid”, two customers can take the last unit. With “pending”, it is also held for unpaid orders. Choose before the peak. /admin/settings/cart →
- 19. Notifications to you are on The page is not in the menu; it opens only by its address. /admin/settings/admin-notifications →

### Payment and shipping

### Ads and security
- 25. Email campaigns will go out A verified domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and a cleaned list: the channel stops on its own at over 5% failed emails. /admin/marketing-new/campaigns/channels →
- 26. Google Analytics and Tag Manager For purchases in Tag Manager you also need the Data Layer app. Consent Mode v2: GDPR → Cookies. /admin/apps/google_analytics →

- 28. Google Shopping sees the promo price After the discount starts, run a manual Sync of the products and check in Merchant Center. /admin/apps/google_shopping →
- 29. The SSL certificate is valid Check the date. If renewal fails, no email comes. Settings → Domains → SSL
- 30. Backups before the peak The history starts on the day of the subscription, so subscribe before Nov 27. /admin/settings/backups →
